4 Pines Brewing Company

The Challenge:  4 Pines needed more chilling power to cope with the increasing demand of their product. They needed the new system to be designed and installed in the existing brewery with energy efficiency in the forefront of the design.

The Outcome:   The solution was Cold Logic designed and installed a 150kWR chiller – designed and assembled at Cold Logic, Port Adelaide – consisting of 3kW primary glycol pump to circulate between the chiller and tank, 4 kW secondary glycol pump, cooling at – 4⁰C Glycol at 38⁰C ambient temperature, and produces +12⁰C chilled water.  The chiller has a protective coating on the condenser to prolong its life. A remote-control panel was installed on the Lab to provide indication of status and the ability to remotely stop and start. Giving 4 Pines brewery greater control and ability over their refrigeration system.
